Pablo Prieto Serrano France Camp Manager and Instructor   ▲

Half Spanish, half German. Pablo is one of the world’s best body boarders currently ranked within the top 30 on the world tour. Fluent in French, Spanish, German and English he is the perfect guy to help push your surfing to the next level and share the world class waves of France with. Pablo is always on hand at the surf camp and is one of the most experienced international surf instructors operating in France. He is also been working this stretch of beach for longer then any other instructor in the area, benefitting from a great relationship with the lifeguards, local surfers and the other surf camps. A natural on both a body board (his signature model) and surf board, he is part man part fish – a true waterman.

Sami Khalaf: Bali Camp Manager   ▲

Sami, an Indo veteran and all round surf traveller. Sami is a little different to your average surf explorer. Seeking out waves in countries such as Oman, Ireland and United Arab Emirates, along with more popular destinations such as Fiji, Australia and Ski Lanka. Sami learned to surf in france many years ago and since has returned on an annual pilgrimage to the warm water and perfect waves Indo has to offer. Always smiling, always happy to help and always in the water with you to call you into the best waves of your life.

Joe Hobson: France Camp Manager and Instructor   ▲

Traveller and Surf Instructor. Joe has spent the past few years teaching surfing in France and also teaching for the English Surfing Federation and numerous surf schools in the UK. Joe divides his time between the perfect beach breaks of France, the classic points of Morocco and the incredible reefs of Indonesia. In the last few years Joe has worked for one of Europe’s leading surf magazines, spent a great deal of time travelling and worked for Europe’s most respected and professional surf schools as both Instructor and Head Coach.

Scott Munro: Surf Assistant   ▲

This Australian traveler is definitely one of the greatest personalities and storytellers you will come across. He grew up on a surfboard in his hometown of Margaret River, Western Australia. Great snowboarder, better skateboarder and definitely a sick surfer, this punk rock drummer will share his 20 years of surfing experience and tell you all about his travels.

Tina Ramholt: Yoga Teacher   ▲

This Swiss lady is the peaceful side of the camp. She is the one who will bring the relaxation and flexibility into your body before and after the surf sessions and is employed as our resident yoga instructor. Yoga is incredibly popular with all professional surfers and athletes improving your surfing ability, flexibility and core strength. Tina is also one of the top professional snowboarders in the world, you probably recognize her from watching this years X Games.

Sarah Casandra: Teamer   ▲

This smart young lady from the Canary Islands is a true camp personality. She speaks 4 languages and has been surfing for a few years around the islands as well as with us in France. She adds the delicate womans touch to the camp and is always on hand should you need any advice, help with anything or even just someone to party with.

Alain De Carne: Surf Instructor   ▲

Half French half Aussie… is there a better mix for a surf instructor in France? Alain is a talented musician, surfer and traveler. He was employed last year full time to organize pub crawls in St Sebastian so watch out for him on our weekly excursion to Spain! Alain is a highly experienced surf instructor working internationally in Morocco, Aus, Spain and France. He also plays a few impromptu gigs at the camp where we invite all other surf camps to join us for a party and to hear his talents.

Dane Van Emden: Surf Instructor   ▲

A passionate surfer, snowboarder, traveller and a great asset to the Star Surf Team. A great guy who is on hand to help you catch the best waves of your life. Dane has so much talent but lets his surfing do the talking, he has competed professionally on the junior Australian tour and has travelled all around the world to surf some of the worlds best waves such as those in Tahiti and Hawaii, this journey has led him to Europe’s best waves and as a result Dane has decided to stay with us for the whole summer to make the most of Moliets and the waves on offer. He will be on the beach with you every day to help answer any questions you have about surfing and the waves around the world.

Britt: Teamer   ▲

This 23 year old Floridian wake skates professionally and when sending in her C.V listed “having fun” as one of her main hobbies! Britt helps us keep the atmosphere fun and entertaining and giving the surf camp that feminine touch. Never one to be out-shined her approach to surfing, board sports and general mayhem challenges the boys on a daily basis. If you cant find her on the beach or in the camp she will probably be found in one of the many local bars or in the skate park. Full of energy, full of fun and a perfect personality to fit right into the Star Surf Camps lifestyle.
